Default Here's another one to add to the Robbie Koenig Dictionary:

Heard moments ago during the Paris coverage: Falla...is on FIRE!

Apologies if it is already part of the Robbie Koenig Lexicon of Tennis Hyperbole.

At least he didn't say he was 'literally' on fire - as seems to be the wont of many people these days.

Sky TV in the UK are currently running adverts where sports fans recollect their best memories - one of them centres on a couple who support Sunderland, and whose pearl of wisdow is that 'when the goal went in, the noise literally blew the roof off the stadium'.

It literally didn't.

End Rant/

^^ Batz, you know all those reporters who always say so and so was "bundled out" of the tournament? I'd like you to take them to a re-education camp and have your way with them.

Hanging's too good for you

I don't know when the world literally changed meaning to its polar opposite (metaphorically), but it literally does my head in

It was mean to be a joke mate i.e. hanging is not sufficient punishment for people who say 'literally' when they mean 'metaphorically'.

An American expression.
Hanging by the neck until dead is not enough punishment.

American west, cowboys, etc.

Dick Enberg said it during Wimbledon 2010, 1R, Federer vs Falla.

Yes!! You're right although Enberg is seriously annoying. He can't say Rafael Nadal to save his life

I've heard this one before, but it's still pretty funny.

when I read the title I thought for sure you were going to mention his tag from the other day in Basel...while describing the well dressed and apparently wealthy crowd, he referred to the Swiss fans as "suited & looted".

Are you sure he didn't say 'suited and booted'?
