Seems like those are the 2 things I should really focus on from what everyone's been telling me. Thanks.

Are you suggesting he needs more than the full 90 degree turn he seems to be
getting in the vid?

He is saying OP needs more coil. He has almost no coil at all. Shoulders are not rotated further than hips.

How do you get more coil with shoulder at 90 when in a neutral stance?
Without going WTA?
He hits some more open and gets more coil, but seems to have at least solid
shoulder turn nearly every stroke.

Maybe he meant something else then.
Shoulder turn looks ok to me. Still could use some more coil i think tho.

or maybe it's deceiving with his 'lack of right leg loading' style. You can just tell from this pic
his body wan't to go left and the shot wants to go left. He's almost falling to the left already at this stage.
You can almost see him thinking here "recover!! get back to the left!!"

I'm all for more open stance, and that is what it would take, right?
or go WTA?
He is even more than 90 degr with shoulders from the ball path.

yes i think more open would do it. i ges he has enough shoulder turn but he seems to loose it during the swing. he's not using the coil in the best way i think. Like there's a missing link in his kinetic chain. when he swings he seems to rotate his hips and shoulders together.

I think it's deceiving because of the way he sets up. He looks almost 'too balanced' to me. Needs some more 'athletic stance' and more load. It doesn't look like he's going to explode here. It looks like all he's concerned about is getting getting the swing over with so he can recover.

head is over or past the knee. left extended past the foot. everything looks ready to explode up and into the ball.

... as opposed to OP's 'sitting in a chair ready to escape to the left' look

Hmm dang, it's almost as if he's going to fall a bit forward. Cool analysis.

yes. that's right. i often use that analysis.. 'falling'. especially on 1hbh. fed's weight there is going to go forward into the ball. at least a good part of it. even if he was lazy with that setup weight would still be transferred into the ball from the falling. He's not thinking about recovery here lol. He will take care of that after he takes care of the hitting the ball business first.
