Question Do you see part of your racquet in trophy pose?

Studying Federer's serve, I noticed in his trophy pose the racquet is right above his head. Some players have their raquets farther from their head.

In general, do you see your raquet in trophy pose. I guess federer does because his raqueet so close to his head. Should I be worried if I don't see my raquet in my trophy pose?

Jim.

Djokovic's raquet was far away from his head some time ago. Now he seems to have a similar trophy pose as Federer's(racquet closer to head).

No, I have my man servant hold a full length mirror so that I can admire myself. I have no time to look at my racket.

Yes I do but I don't think that this is really a crucial element of serving technique.

I can turn around anytime during my service motion and see my racket, but what I need to focus on is exactly where my toss placed the BALL, which is what I"m trying to hit.
I can often spot hotties walking around in the background too, but usually not DURING a point in progress.

my question is not focusing on if you try see it or not but if you by chance see it or not in your usual service motion... I understand the point that your eyes need track the ball in the entire service motion.

There are only two real ways that you would be able to see the racquet. One, if you bring your shoulders forward instead of keeping your chest and shoulders in a plane and two, if your hands are fairly close together. Even then, you should have your head turned to face the ball, so the max amount of frame you would see is in the periphery.

I see just a little part of it.

I sometimes think Roddick can see his racket during his moving trophy pose. He just doesn't seem to take the racket directly back as most servers, as it tends to drift back with some time, and get's behind his line of vision just before hit starts his forward swing.
That allows his different swing technique to work.
