Default Seven guys in stylish suits: Who is the WTF Official Mens' Outfitter ?

Anyone know who is the inevitable "Official Outfitter"/"Outfitting Partner" of the London WTF?

The seven guys all looked the business in their matching suits, and Djokovic accessorized well by donning the spectacles for a stylish alternative look (i.e non-athletic). Nice little perk to be getting a freebie suit, even better if it was specially tailored for each of them by a Saville Row outfitter. Or do you think they were off-the-peg from Debenhams?

They are not matching suits - they are given ties (just like in golf) that represent the WTF but each layer is warning his preferred brand of suit.

If McQueen made the suits, Murray could be wearing one with the words"I'm a cvnt" embroidered in the jacket

They all look like they're wearing the same attire to me

Whoever provides the suits, seems they have tailored for Roger and left the other guys to look like geeks

If you check out Getty images or even the ATP site you can see some color differences and cuts of the suits themselves......look a navy single breasted suit with a white spread collar is a pretty std combo.....just look at the doubles players pic and you can really see a diff.

Someone should tell Murray not to button the top button. I hate that style.

The suit jacket. Didn't notice the pants. That suit looks like it was for someone quite a bit smaller.

^^^On a two button coat you do up only the top button, on a three button coat the rule is (top down) sometimes, always, never. The button stance is a bit high for my taste though on that 2011 photo.

I don't think WTF 2012 suits are tailored as they have belt loops (not always a no-no if requested, but traditionally a tailored suit will have side adjusters rather than be worn with a belt (shows it is a bespoke garment)). That's traditionally the Savile Row way. That, and a few of the guys sleeves are too long. I also think they are all slightly different, Murray's looks more like a chalk-stripe, whereas Fed and and Novak look to be more pin-stripe (although it could be the lighting in different photos)

I don't have any three-button coats and I don't like the look but that suit is too tight in the chest. It would probably look tight even without being buttoned.

I agree with you but for one point, the point of not having belt loops isn't to 'show' the suit is tailored (unless you're a flash git and point out this fact) it's because belts spoil the line and cut of a bespoke suit.

Plenty of very large photos (too large to post direct links here):

http://the-slice.com/2012/11/atp-fin...tend-wtf-gala/

http://the-slice.com/2012/11/atp-fin...f-gala-part-2/

The second one really shows the different colours. And makes me wonder how far down the wrist one should wear one's watch (for those of us who don't have watch sponsors, of course).

Rogael - Agreed, these days it isn't as most people (sadly) wouldn't have a clue or even notice, but traditionally lack of belt loops showed you were a "Gentleman" as the common man held his trousers up with rope!

movdqa - are you saying you don't do up the top button on your 2 button coats? Agreed that Murray's suit in the 2011 picture (might be 2010 actually?) is a poor fit and likely too tight across the waist, resulting in the pulling at the button point.

The tie and the suit seems to be very beautiful.

The collars have problems except maybe for Federer. Berdych and Tsonga - collar is too big. Murray and Djokovic look like giraffes. Tsonga is the only one showing a little sleeve on the hand and that's with all of their arms down.
