Guys that are 3 and 4 years older having to go 3 sets and Saba having to cheat to win not my idea of owning but then again when DB plays someone that much younger it is usually a golden set and always in straights , I guess our definitions are quite different .

why do you continually bash these kids on an online tennis forum? even if what you say is true (which is may not be. I'd like a 3rd party account to hear what really happened) there's nothing to gain from what you're doing. why don't you just let your very talented son play tennis and you need to stop with the shenanigans online.

"usually a golden set" haha - care to name some players your son has gotten a golden set off of in competition? how about just one?

as usual, just a total bs response

one more year til your son is 17 1/2 and one of the older guys still competing on the junior circuit...how sad that will be when you can no longer deflect all his losses with misdirection about his age

unfortunately the ATP also doesn't pay for losses against older players...you have to get the win no matter the age difference

keep letting him burn bridges with the top college coaches, limiting successful options for his son in the future

to date he has knocked at least two of the top ones out of the picture - USC (by insulting the way steve johnson acts on the court) and Duke (by attacking redlick and saba publicly after losses)

think those are the only top coaches that have put an 'x' through his name? nope, word gets around in coaching circles

If this guy has the audacity to step out in public and start making these kind of calls on court then I will be happy to point it out on any forum , just to give you the heads up as soon as I get home and transfer the video I will post it to YouTube under his name and you can see for yourself , pretty pathetic but to sit back and say nothing that is what these guys exspect , sorry not me bud.

I rarely think line calls can effect a match but this was ridiculous !

I think everyone would be interested to see some proof of the bad calls. Until that is up all of your posts just look like sour grapes.

No problem as soon as I transfer will post , you can hear him argue with the ref on one that there is "no mark" on clay , pretty good because he cried so much he gets the cal reversed .

Going on about line calls isn't a good example for DB learning to cope with bad calls.

Number1Coach and TennisforLife77...

Pretty classy to see you guys trying to shame a guy who cheats or quits by calling him a girl? I'm proud to say that the many boys have have competed against my daughter have learned a lesson that is lost on you guys: That a girl can be as tough (and certainly as fair) of a competitor as any boy. And my daughter has certainly never tanked a match because she was being cheated, thank you very much TFL77...

Some of these posters are wannabe tough guys, not real tough guys. I have known lots of real tough guys and they don't pick on people, threaten, hit children, or threaten parents over a tennis match. They don't brag about using violence or care too much about what someone says.

agreed with you on that .. those real martial arts people who can put you down in a second are real calm ..similar to the Steven Seagal character in the movies.. but what does all this have to do with tennis ?

Hoperfully nothing. But if you follow this thread you will see posters who want to turn tennis into some kind of macho violent contest. Sometimes against kids or their parents. I'm saying these "internet tough guys" are frauds. Let's get back to reality.
