Using Ashaway strings... wonderful.. but...

I really enjoy the feel and the durability of Ashaway strings.

I shoot really hard and my strings usually last max 4 hours.

Since I use the Ashaway , I never break them, but .. I break the others (I use a hybrid combination), I think they are syntetic gut (longitudinal?)

Why is it? Is it possible that in this hybrid system the syntetic gut I use is really poor?
