I'd say the internet tough guys are not as bad as the tough guy parent frauds that pop up all over the place at junior tournaments.

I think it s safe to say that there will be no need to track down tcf anymore for some of the outrageous comments he had, like stars aligning and once in a million, meteor happenstance!

Are you in Florida ?

the thing I don't get is why do they have a tournament on clay for college players when college matches are played on hard courts or indoors ?

obviously, like everything you post, that is incorrect

http://www.itftennis.com/juniors/pla...erid=100131998

career high 113 itf - his best result was, yes, the OB (rd of 16) - he won his first round match comfortably then got a 4-3 ret in rd of 32

you have google like the rest of us right? is there a reason you just guess at everything on these boards, and your guesses are always in the same direction (making things look better for your son)...never in a million years will you guess the other direction and say he made the rd of 32 when he actually made the rd of 16

you can fudge facts all you want - again, yet another thing that doesn't pay the bills on tour

It's typical fall pre-season type play. They play on clay same reason they are playing against USTA juniors. It's something different and bottom line good practice.

Deit is playing some really good tennis winning two matches at this tournament as a 16 year old. I think in a year from now he will be ready to make the move to the pro tour. If not he wont have any problem playing college tennis ANYWHERE he wants.

we'll see

tennis doesn't quite work like that - where things become true because people on a message board repeatedly say so a million times - let me know when he's playing for one of the top college programs or having a successful atp career - i can be patient

Hey email any of the coaches that were there ask for a report on what they think , try the Tulsa coach , get some feed back from him , DB played his player who was 20 yrs old and grew up on clay. Do some real research
