Aragone came here from California for a visit the same weekend that Corinteli visited, but I have no idea what his leanings are.

Virginia going down a dangerous road. The Stanford road I like to call it. Just snap up the best American juniors or seemingly the best. Getting lazy, rely on others for talent evaluation, getting players who's best days are behind them.

Players at 17 or 18 have their best days behind them? Kind of an odd statement! So who are the players that have their best days ahead, according to you?

Now so far Boland has gotten lucky with Frank and Syslinger, However it seems that Polnet,Richmond are falling into the mold of disappointing.

I'm not a UVA fan and I think they are doing a great job at recruiting. My guess is that Pedroso will only be there for 1 or 2 years max before a program makes him an offer he can't refuse.
Multiple players on the team come from extremely wealthy families, and they probably came for little or no money just to be a part of one of the best programs in the country. In-state tuition is $13,000 plus room and board. That is peanuts compared to what has already been spent on tennis for a top junior player. |

Ben Wagland looking good. I watched them practice the other day. Wagland will be the best freshman in the country when the year is over. Marco Nunez will be in the top 10 freshmen.

I havent had time to look too much at individual results or stats for Kentucky players but the team is ranked 9 which isnt bad. Sam Monette a freshman at Indiana won at #1 doubles and #3 singles against Kentucky so he is looking good right now.

So what would the consensus be for the top 5 freshman of 2013 based on performance to date?

Base simply on rankings:
Syslinger Shane Bogaerts Hiltzik There are many more worthy of mention though and rankings don't define their worth. |

Lindmark at Ole Miss has done well holding down the 3/4 spot.
MS State has 4 freshmen in line-up

Oklahoma's freshman Axel Alvarez has been winning a lot at #4. Stakhovsky has been a solid #6 for us this season as well.
