A balut is a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell. It is commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines.

Been eating a lot of green beans and chicken. Fast-food though last night followed by a shake.
Used to be a chef and had cobb salad all the time. It's a classic! The duck eggs don't sound very appetizing though.

Boiled and eaten straight in the shell is how I prefer. Sometimes I even close my eyes as I dig the spoon in. It's food with the roller coaster feeling. LOL. |
