I think they were American unhatched duck eggs. Laid and ...eaten in the USA.

A balut is a fertilized duck embryo that is boiled and eaten in the shell. It is commonly sold as streetfood in the Philippines.

Been eating a lot of green beans and chicken. Fast-food though last night followed by a shake.

Used to be a chef and had cobb salad all the time. It's a classic!

The duck eggs don't sound very appetizing though.

Well, I didn't go to no Philippines to get 'em. I bought them from a store in the US. I highly doubt they were imported.

Boiled and eaten straight in the shell is how I prefer. Sometimes I even close my eyes as I dig the spoon in. It's food with the roller coaster feeling. LOL.
