Default Decompression Osteotomy, Cheilectomy & The Return To Tennis

Hi all,

I have Hallux Rigidus. And I'm about to undergo the following procedures to treat it:

1) Decompression osteotomy (for the limited joint space)
2) Cheilectomy (for the bone spurs)
3) Chondroplasty (to stimulate cartilage growth if possible)

I'm curious to know if any of you have undergone the same procedures, and I'm hoping you can share your wisdom regarding your general recovery and your return to the courts.

Thanks much for your time. (And I apologize for starting a second thread, but I'm trying anything I can to reach out to those in similar circumstances.)
