Y'all notice that the price has come back down?
I guess they couldn't justify the huge jump and I'm pretty sure the sales plummeted as well.

I suppose it was worth a shot for them. The bad thing could be their original customers may have made a permanent switch to another string by now.

Nahh, t'ain't nuthin like RIP Control.
Love it or hate it. It is what it is. I must say that I love Head's willingness to go outside the box. Sometimes it fails, like the Crossbows, but they keep trying. Their commitment to Isospeed and the RIP Tech goes beyond Austrian Nationalism or corporate ties. It's no longer a new technology, but it's stood the test of time.

to players, its a great low powered, great spin, holds tension well string. but to stringers, its a challenging product to string with.

I was buying a ton of the stuff for me and my kids. After the price hike I decided to dump it and won't be switching back. |

Glad to see the price come down, but I love this string for my game and and racquets.
Such a unique string. |

For me, the 17 is a great string, but the 16 is lacking.

Well, I don't like it at all, but I'm always happy with a price drop.

Well, the 16g works fine for me.
BTW didn't the price use to be $5.99 before the recent hike? Someone refresh my memory. |

I just ordered some RIP Control 16 at the new price. I've been breaking too many multis on shanks recently. I'm hoping that RIP Control 16 will pass the shank test. I'll be using it as a main with a softer multi cross like Hexy or PPA. That combination seems to work for me. |

I never liked it. I didn't find it to be low powered. it just frayed too much.
