That, in general is a good rule to apply even in GOAT debates. Just sayin'

Sounds like Cvac is making pretty light work of T-Berd in London. 4-1 first set with Nole to serve.

Impressive stuff from #1.

Berdych is a clown. Djokovic is pretty boring to watch.

Djoko getting the job done. He's been in good form this tournament so far. Berd has beaten Djoko only once in 11 encounters and surprise, surprise... the one time was on grass. People here didn't really expect Berd to beat Djoko here in straights now, did they? That would have been very foolish.
ETA: Djoko just qualified for the semi. Congrats to him! Let's see if he lets up now.

Is this supposed to be the Djoker-Berdych thread?

I think we're in for a blockbuster final weekend, just like in 2010 - where all the top guys progressed through the round-robin stages fairly comfortably.

Two more awful players lose in Marray/Nielson. Fluke victory at Wimbledon it's amazing they can even win a match.

Well, they only qualified for WTF mainly because of their Wimbledon win. Don't think they are all that bad though. They beat the Bryans at Wimbledon and Bhupathi/Bopanna and Mirnyi/Nestor, the defending champions, at the O2. They've qualified for the semis. Those big scalps can't ALL be flukes!

Question

We have a rematch tomorrow of two guys who fought to a fifth-set TB in the USO'12 QFs and I haven't read one poast about the matchup. Granted Tipsy has been off-form for much of the Fall swing and looked overwhelmed in his losses this week, but Ferrer has played a lot of tennis winning Valencia and Bercy. Tipsy proved he can hang with the Spanish Terrier two months ago. Can he fight that hard tomorrow???

I don't expect it. Tipsy's form has been down the drain recently. Health issues apparently.

Thanks! If Del Potro beats Federer in he would be #1 in the group, is that correct?

Unless Ferrer wins too. Than 3 players are tied.

Only for a second - there is no 3 way tie scenario where Roger and Delpo don't qualify.

If Delpo beats Roger in straights then Delpo wins the group and Roger is 2nd, if Delpo wins in 3, then it's the other way round - either way, any Delpo win sees Ferrer eliminated.

So the Tipsy/Ferrer match has become a "dead rubber" with JMDP's win today???
