Default Best Full Bed Syn. Gut?

Hey guys, for playability, tension, and all around, which Syn. Gut would you guys say is the best? I also want it to be cost friendly as well.

I have been playing with Alpha Hardcourt Synthetic Gut 16 and I like it, although I haven't ever played with anything but synthetic gut.

The best are probably Babolat N.vY and Gamma TNT, but they are not budget friendly.
IMO the best of the cheap strings are Forten Sweet 16 and Gamma Synthetic 16 (not wearguard).
In the middle is Wilson Red Alert. It's pretty durable, plays well, and the reel brings the price way down.

Well there ya go, OP - a definitive conclusion. Having been around as long as you have, one would think you'd know better than to initiate a "best of" thread.

Looking for a good, inexpensive syn? Sample several from multiple manufacturers and you'll figure out which one suites you best.

A lot of people where I work like TNT2. It's not the most durable and is expensive, though.

I would disqualify TNT2 on price alone. I don't understand how they can charge that much for a syngut that doesn't play any better than PSGD. When you can get a perfectly good multi like Prince Premier Attack for the same amount of money, it just doesn't make any sense.

I can see why people like it, it's very soft and has a slick coating that more than likely helps with string movement/snap back.

There are plenty of people who don't care about price, but I know what you are saying about some multis being the same price.

TNT2 is not a great string especially for the price. It plays stiff and is very springy. Gamma synthetic gut (without WearGuard) was my favorite in a full bed.

I love Prince TopSpin 15L in the mains, with some other syn gut in the crosses ( typically, Prince Original 17 or LaserFibre Classic 17 or Forten Nylon 16. ) Feels better than an entire bed of 15L, lasts longer than entire bed of 17, and gives better spin.

For full bed syn, gosen ogsm 17 or 18 is the way to go. Best value for performance wise.

I'm gonna have to go with Prince Original Synthetic Gut (I just never liked Duraflex), Gosen OG Super Micro and Forten Sweet 16.

IMHO, anyone who likes fullbed syngut should give Red Alert a try (if the color doesn't turn you off).
It is more arm-friendly than the stiffness rating would lead you to believe.

Prince Synthetic Gut hands down. Lots of pop and I like my serves with it..Durability is just an issue though.
