I'm starting to think Lance is being unfairly vilianized knowing full well there are thousands of pro NFL and MLB players that have gotten away with it for years and no one really cares.

I just LOL at Lance for denying it all these years. It's just a joke now. But it's unfair knowing its pretty rampant in all sports.

He still sorta seems slimey but something seems fishy about the while thing. I hope more whistleblowers step forward in other sports.
The difference bewtween Lance and any regular MLB or NFL guy is that lance spent years threatinging legal action on any and all people who said anything. He strongly denied any accustation and backed it up with legal action. Im not sure of any other athelete who so aggresivly went after those that accused him.

A-Rod was all like "I'm sorry for taking them, but I was trying to heal"

Bonds was like "I never took them so take me court, its still not proven he actually did"

Clemens was like bonds, but with more first person testimony. Yet still never actually tested.

The guys that get popped now in MLB just serve the suspensions and hopefully come back.

Shawne Merriman served his 4 game suspension and won the defense MVP.

Lance threatened poeple carrers to keep the machine going and the cash flowing. He operated at a different level than anyone else (at least from what we know).

He finished 3rd the year he was suspended (2006), behind Jason Taylor and Champ Bailey.

Do the crime, do the time.

All of these lance conspiracy theory/woe is me posts are just a crock. Dude made hundreds of millions all based upon a LIE.

You sound just like lance: he says he gained no unfair advantage: he shouldn't be punished since everyone else cheated too.

This clown is talking out of both sides of his mouth: he says he never failed a test, but then says he gained "no unfair advantage."

He's made hundreds of millions of dollars, but finds it "difficult" when his cheating is exposed.

Too. F'ing. Bad.

It's time for lance and his apologist fanboys to finally put on their big boy pants and own up to the truth.

Greg is one of the few sane voices in all of professional cycling. Which is why he is thoroughly marginalized now.

Pro cycling is going to go the way of women's roller derby; a semi-legitimate clown sport which attracts a couple of dozen trashy rednecks and old school diehards.

Professional bowling is probably bigger than cycling now.

There's been no serious query about last year's or this year's Tour de France so things have significantly improved.

Average speeds are way down. Amazing: slower speeds are a GOOD sign in a race, for once. What a topsy turvy world we live in.

The Tour De France is a total joke. Has been ever since it started. The problem is with the difficulty of the race. Basically, in the beginning, riders doped up to ease the pain associated with doing that much cycling. Then it transformed into actually trying to go faster.

But even as recently as 2007, Contador was caught doping. I honestly think that everybody that does that race is doped to some degree.

Its OK for 75% of all pro athletes to dope but its not OK for Lance.

Alrighty then.

Lance made $100 million dollars + by maintaining the fiction that he wasn't doping, while at the same time doping himself, facilitating and encouraging doping by his teammates, and intimidating journalists and fellow cyclists to prevent information on the extent of doping from emerging.

If Lance was just an average joe trying to keep up with everybody, that would be one thing. He pretty clearly wasn't.

Lance is slime, yes.

But I just think that there are THOUSANDS of millionaire pro athletes freaking out that they may be outed too.

Its just lame that one guy is being totally toasted for something THOUSANDS of other millionaire athletes have been doing for YEARS.

What about all the fake Protein powder companies saying you can get muscles from their products?

Joe Wieder is a much, MUCH bigger fraud than Lance.

He's made BILLIONS from his fake products for decades. All of the Muscle BS industry has been duping consumers for decades with PED FED models on magazine covers for YEARS.

Just sayin', there is a massive amount of hypocrisy going on with this.

Lance is not the only guilty PED slime bag in the sports world.

There are MANY.

Have you read the secret race all about how they injected the roids and blood transfusions. All the steroid use is there in the book. They were probably more serious or just as serious as Mark McGuire and those guy were with injecting the hormones into their bloodstreams. Lance probably would have lost without them. He did loose that one thing though.
