Just trying to find out what the average age of Adult League & Tournament Talk posters are.

I am over 85 but not yet 9000. Where is my poll option? Why the blatant discrimination against us oldsters but not yet deaders?

I'd be less concerned about discrimination and more concerned about your life alert button working.

If you're really over 85, click over 9000. If you don't want to click over 9000, don't click anything. If you want to click 75-85, I won't tell anybody.

*But I commend your ability to type and spell correctly! My grandma found internet months ago, and she still doesn't know how to type well. All of her Facebook posts are like so: THATS A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE I HAVE A PRETTY GRANDDAUGHTER YOU ARE GOOD AT MAKING HATS

You need to learn how to write poll questions to make the answers mutually exclusive. Anyone 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, or 75 has two possible correct answers. Plus you aren't going to be able to determine an average age of posters from the results of that poll. All you'll get is a mode age range.

My life alert button stopped working decades ago, or so it seems. Actually I think it was a tennis accident - I was wearing it on court and it got hit point-blank by an overhead. I think that's also when my pacemaker stopped working. But I'm not sure - my memory isn't what it used to be.

Now what was I saying?

We always wonder, what if?
Now in my case, I got some smarts, some experience, some maturity...what would things be like if I was 25 again?
I'd be ugly--er. Much more wrinkled, weak and slow, bad vision, long recovery time .... and still staring at the 20 year olds which I could never get.....

I am surprised at the lack of under 18 users on TT, considering I am part of that age group.

Agreed on that. From the poll it looks like we should have some mature posters but that does not correlate to what I've read. I would have expected a greater population of younger posters. Perhaps the don't do polls..

Nah, this place is a 30-50 year old conversation that an occasional twenty something joins in (and usually gets out pretty quick). Kids aren't hangin around this place.

In general, for a chronological age of N years, the above always simplifies to N/2.
