I am not an SEC fan at all so I have rooted for the ACC teams to win in these matchups. I was at the Bowl game here in nashville several years ago when KY played Clemson and 95 pct of the stadium was blue but I was rooting for Clemson.

We seem to draw SEC teams quite often in the lower tier bowls.

BTW, I just can't even take this BCS ranking at all serious. Clemson is ahead of us as well in one of the computer polls hat the BCs is based on!!! LOL.
The only way we can ever find out who is really the best is to have at least 8 teams in a playoff. If not we are going to always wonder if bama could beat Oregon (i say yes). If Notre Dame could beat A&M (doubtful)...etc..etc. It just all seems pretty stupid to me. Especially when you watch college basketball march madness and it is so entertaining. I am not suggesting a 64 team playoff, but a college football playoff that shaved 2 crappy games off the schedule and allowed for 8 or 16 teams would be so much better than this nonsense.

The fans will watch anything even if they b!tch about it. It's sort of like a reality show where we root for X (Boise State) and against Y (Notre Dame). We get to hear from the coaches and fans for X and Y. The pundits weigh in, etc. What a great system. I think they let the fans vote for a few bowl spots. Maybe have some team go through a few "challenges" to get some other bowl spot. Lots of possibilities.

But ratings are sinking. People are sick of bowl games. If FSU wins the ACC, they will play against the winner of the Big East...uggh. It's a pointless game. It proves nothing to anyone. College football is a regional game that is not really growing in popularity like the NFL has.

I have to be honest, I lost interest in watching most sports quite a while ago. About the only thing I do watch is tennis.

Two things I pray for the rest of the year:
1. KSU and Oregon remain unbeaten And/or 2. USC manages to beat Notre Dame. It will be a total travesty if The Golden Domers wind up in the title game. Smoke and mirrors have been their 12th man.

Don't forget the officials, who played key roles in wins against Stanford and Pitt.

Dont forget to pray for Louisiana Tech to get a Nebraska or Louisville loss and creep into top 16 for the Automatic BCS berth from non AQ schools.

But I still hope they rain on the BCS parade. That 2pt loss to A&M looks alot better now as well.

Suppose you schedule a football game and a track meet breaks out instead...NC State spots 13 points to Clemson and then comes roaring back with 24 unanswered of their own. Clemson then scores and it's 24-19 with 12 minutes before halftime!
BTW, when did the 3rd Saturday of November become Cupcake Day??? It's ridiculous to see so many top teams taking the week off while playing powderpuffs so late in the season.

Had a good time at the game today. Nice seeing how well McGloin has developed under O'Brian. Shame about Mauti's injury, hopefully it isn't too bad since he has been such an important guy on and off the field for us. Crazy to think next week will be the last football game I go to as a student.

41-24 at half for Clemson. Both teams combined with over 800 yards of offense.

LOL Baylor leads KState 28-17 at the half.
If Oregon beats Stanford they will setup a UCLA vs Oregon PAC-12 championship game. Oregon might be the new #1 on Sunday.

62-48 final score for Clemson. The Tiger defense just looks so confused out there.
