I marvel at his ability to always play so well against the top 3 players, especially Federer, but can not seem to always get up for lesser players. This is evidenced by his record versus top 10 players compared to Federer, if you take their rivalry out of their respective records.

Berdych is one of those annoying players who plays well against Fed and then he struggles with the lower ranked players. Pointless!

Yeah, head to heads are strange. Like, it is weird that Andy Murray and David Ferrer have defeated Nadal in a Grand Slam the same number of times as Federer.

Rafa has the best win/loss percentage of any player in the ATP, tied with Bjorn Borg for the best in the history of the ATP record keeping. He does just fine against lesser players too.
