I don't know that the pros use sticks with better quality standards. I imagine that a bunch of hairpins are used with variations in weight, distribution and balance and that they are customized with silicone and lead to even out the differences.

You're probably right, it just seems odd that If they were the same then they wouldn't be manufactured at different locations. For instance are heads pro stocks made in Austria or something? Is the whole layup done there or do they just send them there for further customization like silicone and gripping etc.

I believe it is not a babolat racquet the throat is different and the clear grommets are head grommets.
