I play with the PB10Mid and BHB7 is one of my go to strings. I find the string to be softer and more flexible than most of other polys that I have tried.

Before switching to BHB7 I was playing with Genesis Typhoon at 45lb. Now I have to string the BHB7 at 50lb to get the same kind of response/softness that I'm used to.

Note that the BHB7 seems to be smaller than the stated 17G, to me it's closer to the 1.10 MSV Hex. The 17G BHB7 was also about 3-4 grams lighter than the thicker Typhoon.

I would string BHB7 a little higher than your normal poly tension.

The string plays really well for my game plus it's very very comfortable. String has plenty of power as well. Tension maintenance is average (10-12hr).

I have also been trying out the Iontec for about a week. Strung the Iontec at 48lb and I really like it as well. A little less power than the BHB7 but everything else are excellent. It's a good cheaper alternative...

I just strung it up in full bed (Head YT IG Rad MP). 52 lbs. Played 5 hours with it. In a word: awesome. Very soft. Actually, it didn't even feel like a poly, it feels more like a multi. Its a little too powerful, but tons of spin.

I'm going to buy another pack and string it @ 54 lbs to see if I can get a little more control out of it.

I strung it at 47 in my Prestige Pro a while back. Powerful, for a poly, but very spin friendly. With proper technique, you can really hit the cover off the ball with it.

40/37 in my PS90. Soft, comfortable, lots of snapback, spin and enough control for groundies but can float your volleys if you're not precise or cut into them enough. At such a low tension you really need to have enough spin on your shots. If you're a flat hitter it's going to fly. Great string for the money

45lb in my Radical Trisys - Excellent blend of power, control and massive spin, even with an 18x20 pattern.

Either you're purposely exaggerating or it truly underscores how subjective these types of comparisons are. I've played with my fair share of polys/multis, and I've yet to come across a poly that's as comfortable as a multi. Right now I have Silverstring in one racquet at 43lbs, 4G in another at 41, and I'm in the process of comparing Gosen syn to Technifibre in my other two racquets. Even at those low tensions, the poly feels quite a bit stiffer than the synthetics. And you're saying BH7 (which I've hit with at 53lbs - just checked my records) feels as comfortable as a multi?

Course, if you're stringing polys in the high 40s/low 50s and your multis in the high 60s, it's a little easier to believe, but still a stretch in my opinion.

47 in my Dunlops. Good string for slices and groundies, but overall, beaten by many others. From a personal standpoint, great responsive feel, but many don't like that just as I don't like Black Widow because it lacks it.

I have arm issues, which is why I use soft racquets and soft strings. I can't play with a babolat pure drive for an entire match without serious pain. I tried RPM Blast once and couldn't hold a can of soda afterwards due to the pain. I once strung a hybrid of Genesis Hexonic in the mains and OGSM in the crosses @ 55 lbs and my arm tingled the entire match.

HOWEVER, after 5 hours in one day with BHB7 @ 52, no issues what so ever.

I'd go so far as to say that POSG @ 62 lbs hurts more than BHB7 @ 52 lbs. Any syn gut, really, that high will start to hurt me.

Just for giggles, I ordered a pack of BHBR and will string that up perhaps tonight, 52 lbs. i have a match sunday, I'm curious to see how that feels.

so ya, to me its really soft. A little "too" soft.

I hybrid BHB7 as mains and tension at 52, 48, 46. At 52, the bite is good but tension loss fast. At 48 and 46.. it play better with more power and last a little longer but the hex edges does wear faster. Overall a good string that is quite soft for a poly and easy to generate spin.

so what would be an optimal tension for you with multi crosses?

I also play with PB10 mid. Looking forward to your review and tension set up.

I played with BHB7 at 40 in my modded IG rad MP. It plays very well with great spin and a good deal of power for a poly. It wasn't as crisp feeling as I would've liked but I think I can change that with a bit of playing around with the tension.

I thought it gave me pretty good control in my power shots. I always would know where my shots were going whether it was flat or power WW FH

This string creates a very tight spin and the control is outstanding. As stated, I always knew where my shot were going...flat drives or heavy spin strokes.

I say 48 is good. Just string a little higher than usual on the multi. I up my multi from usual 54 to 57 and overall feel is better.

Most polys do quite well at 46-52, depending on the frame and gauge.

you mean you do a 48/57??
doesn't it suffocate the poly to death?

Just another +1... 48 lbs here in Yonny 95D

Comfortable, playable, cost friendly, and very spin friendly
