i guess is that it's a legit Rafa racket. Whether or not Rafa actually used it is one thing. It's probably just one racket that they picked out from the batch that Babolat sends to Rafa.

Is this some special one that they made for him to play in that exhibition only? Edit: I see. They made a special one with Rafa on it to give away to the winner. I was thinking he used it. No exhibition, just a contest. Last edited by sureshs : 11-15-2012 at 03:15 PM. |

All of his rackets have "Rafa" printed on.
Earlier in this thread there is a racket from FabFed who is an expert collector and it has "Rafa" printed as well. I dont think babolat would give in a contest a fake frame. |

Correct but the older APD versions didnt have RAFA on the racket, only on the latest paintjob...

In 2011 there was a "Player Locker Action" at the Barclays WTF, the final bid for Rafa locker was $14,800.
The locker included "Autographed Nike clothes, Nike shoes and Babolat racquet " Link: http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Cha...y-Auction.aspx Maybe that would help to (at least) have same notion of how much would cost your racquet, supposing your APD is a genuine Rafa racquet... The cortex painted would be a good indicator, as seen on Fabfed Nadal's used APD...

Did you change the over grip on any of these rackets??
Does he use one or two?? I ask you because I can se some of them are put as a left-handed would use it and somne others, as a right-handed user.... So Nadal is a right-handed that plays with his left hand but put his overgrip as a right-handed?? ![]()

He uses one overgrip over a basic Syntec grip.

Yeah but I was asking because on the pics posted, some overgrips are wrapped for a right-handed and some others for a left-handed :S

Thanks so much for posting so much information Fabfed, it really is appreciated!
I'd love to know the swingweight of the pro's sticks, wasn't there a website from P1 or someone a while ago with all that sort of information? |
