Muted is hardly the word I would have chosen. Djokovic usually goes bonkers whenever he wins a big tournament no matter who he has beaten.

OF course he and everyone celebrates acording to the meaning of the match won, if he wins a 250 (not the he plays them) I don't think he would celebrate a lot, win a GS and we have the T-shirt tearing, I rather see that, that someone just going to the net and shake hands, what I don't like is the racket bashing, but it's like that, the more emotional you are the more emotional you are wining or losing. That's the one thing I don't like much about federer, he plays like he has no emotions and his tennis is so good I'd love to see him a little less robotic.

Crying like murray at wimby earns you fans but if you celebrate like djoker at wtf, he is arrogant ?? so a player should behave like a sore loser all the time to be more likeable huh ? whats the likeable criteria exactly ?

Well all this yelling, screaming in the face of your opponent after you've just beaten them is a little unnecessary. It's OK if you direct it at your camp AFTER the handshake.

Grim days?, I don't think his family was ever poor...?. He's always done pretty well also.

They weren't poor, and he wasn't dodging bombs like he sensationalizes, either. Cvac was in Germany during the majority of the war.

I like Novak's celebrations! They are great and he is full of passion and enjoys the moment. I don't see anything wrong with that. At least he enjoys his job as a tennis player and he loves to win! Good for him. I have nothing against Novak, he is a good player and very nice in person

They weren't poor by definition, but weren't thriving by any means. What ever they had they invested in Novak at the time. Gutsy move that carried a lot of pressure with it.

It obviously comes naturally for him so who cares? It's not like how in baseball some closers (pitchers who finish out the game) have a ritualized celebration they do after every win no matter the importance of the game. Djokovic looks hot when he runs around screaming so it gives the ladies something to fantasize about too.

Federer deserved it. He took Djokovic's seat before the match started, and it fired Djokovic up BIG time!

COOL? If that's your idea of cool I'd hate to see you at the club on a Friday night.
