Cool

Boredone: +1, although Jon Cryer still manages to eke a few chuckles out of me!

I hate all of the reality crap on MTV, particularly Jersey Shore, but these MTV series ain't too shabby:
  • The Inbetweeners (2012)
  • Underemployed
  • Awkward
.
Is that the American one? They put the trailer for it out over here a few months back, it's exactly the same things as the original just, nowhere near as funny!

Case in point: Charles just took a shot at LeBron James

"Y'all seen LeBron's new commercial? What's he doing going to the barber for?"

I should mention, though, that I do watch South Park whenever a new season is on. I love how they rip into everyone and anyone, regardless of religion, gender, political affiliation, social class, race, level of fame, and everything in between. That show is probably the most "needed" show on TV these days simply because they constantly (and intelligently) expose the stupidity behind everything that grips this nation.

I've never seen the original British series and really have only seen a couple of episodes of the American version of The Inbetweeners. It's not quite as good as MTV's Awkward, but it did seem promising from what I had seen. Ditto for Underemployed.

I think the last two or three seasons have been absolutely horrible. They used to be a bit more subtle about who and what they made fun of, now it's much more predictable in my opinion. I love the older episodes they show during the day time on Comedy Central because they were just funny for the fun of it, didn't need something to happen in pop culture in order to be funny.

Ahh ok, you're missing out! The original is huge here, it's hard to believe it finished 2 years ago now, with the number of times it's repeated and the quotes used. There's a film too, which was just as good.

24, the best one. The Wire, Prison Break, Lost (the first seasons), The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under and The Shield are great too.

I like watching some episodes of sitcoms like Seinfeld or Friends but I get bore after a while.

Question

Is anyone watching Revolution (on Monday night NBC)???

My schedule doesn't usually allow me to watch it but I'm off tonight. I saw one episode and it was fairly interesting but I'm thinking the gap since then will leave me "in the dark" (yes, pun intended!).

Should I watch it or there is no point now as it was cancelled?

Another network may pick it up. Sony studious, which produces the show, is known for finding ways to save a promising series. ABC will air all 13 episodes of this season.

There is an active twitter campaign to save the show.

Even Boss got cancelled.
I cant believe ratings count so much when it comes to quality vs money

Cool

I'm getting hooked on Elementary! Very edgy Sherlock and Lucy Liu as Watson is a real twist.
