Default Tourna Quasi-Gut 16g

recently, i've read alot of good things about this string. has anyone used it in a full bed or as a cross or main in a hybrid setup? your experiences, comments, tensions, and or suggestions are always appreciated.

best,
TF

Per your request...

It is a nice feeling string on flat shots but the spin potential is what really turned me off to this string.

would you consider this in a hybrid as a cross or main? if so, would a softer or firmer poly pair better? if not, why? if other than for spin potential alone.

It might make a nice cross, I definitely would not use it as a main. It is probably just a little stiffer than the average multi so maybe a softer poly would be better for arm friendliness.

Use this for crosses only. Too soft and too much power with trampoline effect for main use. A good cross string but low durability as this string fray fast and once the outer coat wear out, the center core snap easily with one hard hit.

I love it as a full bed feels a bit like NRG but better. I now use it as a cross for RIP control mains
