If you can go up to $140 or $150 per reel, I'd definitely get Discho Microfibre or Signum Pro Micronite.

thanks!-----

those reels seem like hard to find... Signum only sells pricey reels in Europe, and Discho doesn't even have reels

On the contrary, he is extremely busy. I'm not sure if he sells reels very often. He had to special order mine. I'm running low again now...

I just sent Ray an email today and got a quick response. He said there are some things coming out next year that he is excited about. Can't wait to hear about them.

Black Mamba mains were too stiff for me. Thinking about trying an Iontec/DM hybrid.

Iontec Black plays really nice and comfortable for me.

I crossed it with Microfibre a couple of weeks ago and broke the Micro on a shank while still warming up. Planning on trying it again in the next few weeks.

Crazy how you broke a cross on a shank. I've only done that will full poly.

I know... The string snapped right at the top.
It felt really nice and I'm anxious to try it again.

The Iontec Black will surprise alot of people. It plays really comfortable and has great durability. So far, I don't feel any pain or twinges.

Default They're here...

These are the 3 prototype strings from Genesis. All look like high quality offerings:

^ any insight on what tension to string? would be useful seeing how you received a single set (unless you're very good at estimating).
