Yes they have. More than once. A few of them were from Toni and then one from David Nadal. None of them were right and he is still not practicing. This article is no more legitimate than the tweets I read from David Nadal,or the other quotes I read from Toni saying he was coming back. I won't believe it till I see it.

Clarky, there's no way in the world you're a Nadal fan. I've been following these boards pretty closely for the last year and a half, and I have never, ever, seen you write anything positive about Nadal. I don't know how in the world you would think anyone would think you're a Nadal fan. When you're not whining about him being a money-grubbing who*&, you're constantly going on about how Nadal should quit tennis, how he has lost all his passion, how he will never beat Djokovic again, how he will never win anything again, how he and his camp are consummate bullsh*&ers that play with his fanbase, and on and on.

If you were even remotely a fan, you would have written something after he beat Djokovic in MC, or Rome, or RG, something like, Wow, glad I was wrong. He's not the worst player in the world. I was actually waiting for you to write something like that. I didn't happen. You're silent when he wins, even momentous wins like RG, and when things aren't going well, you're the first person to pile on with something negative.

And if you were reading these boards for the past year and half you would have seen my posts admitting that I was wrong when Nadal beat his Master in MC,RG,etc... And you would have seen me give him credit for trying in the final at the AO,and give him credit for the way he played against Berdych at the AO in the last 2 sets. Maybe your eagle eye is broken,Winston.

You're right WinstonPlum. At least a date has been given and they have said Rafa will have a racquet! . Oh boy, I hope this week coming answers my prayers and that Rafa will be back on court at last! I have missed him playing so much. Just to have the pictures and video of Rafa back playing tennis! I can't wait! Especially since it has been a stressy week of work. Rafa brightens up my world . Okay, that's a start. I must have missed those comments that you made about MC, RG, etc. I stand corrected. I wouldn't call Novak his master, though. Yes, he did have a great run against Nadal, but wasn't it exciting as a Nadal fan, not a ****, but as a fan, to see Nadal exact some revenge in 2012. Although it wasn't the best tennis Nadal has played, it was great to see him reel off three in a row. And I agree, the match against Berdych was his best match of 2012.

I agree with you that he's lost some of his passion, but don't you ever think you're being too negative by half by acting like he's absolutely miserable out there. Besides the debacles in Madrid and Wimb, he had a pretty good year, even by his standards.

To kragster: I can't root against Rafa, sorry (it doesn't matter what event) I support Djoko vs anyone else though. I want as many Djoko/Rafa finals as possible. I support Rafa in the finals but I'm happy for Djoko if he wins, so it's a win-win situation for me!
