The fallacy is in believing that the universe exists to support life. It may or may not be true. Just like a river exists whether or not you go boating on it, and if you go boating on it, it doesn't mean the river was created with you in mind. The idea that life and humans are central to the universe is called the anthropic hypothesis, and has its supporters. |

The thread was only created for those who may gain from it, not for those who attack it, yet, this is the way of the free forum: attack anything you don't like or agree with. Why not try it objectively instead of the usual? If you do, you will learn to heal twice as fast as normal people do. I pulled my calf three times before learning this. Each took months/years. After this, a week or two. If you don't the only one who will care is you. Last edited by kiteboard : 11-16-2012 at 02:57 PM. |

Murray has a great game and an extreme split step. Very fast. I just wish he would improve his emotional game. Perfectionism is one thing, and self destruction is another.

I went to high school also..
Was jumped by 3-4 guys a couple of times. They were white. I'm Asian. As a SanFrancisco Night Taxi Driver for 7 years, I can honestly say I've had hijinx at least 20 times. 2 were white. NONE were Hispanic or Asian. |

It was a weekly occurrence for me, only because I was white. Never jumped by asian, hispanic or whites. My school, won the state of Cal track championship, with four guys on the team who could all run 9.6 in the 100yd. dash. We had 1300 students, going against teams that had 30,000 and up to pick from. None of them were white. I was not credited for holding the schools distance records. My times didn't make state level. There were guys going under 4 min. miles. No one cares about race until you suffer for it. Talk to any minority in any school and they will tell you the same story of violence and misery.

That's a nine to one. For me it was a hundred to one.

20 to 2 is equal to 10 to 1, not 9.
The current men's world record for the men's 100 yard dash is 9.58 seconds, set by Jamaica's Usain Bolt, but you had 4 high school kids that ran 9.6??!! When will we be seeing your upcoming infomercials? |

100 yards = 91.44 meters and so it's entirely plausible that fast high school kids can run 100 yards in 9.6 secs. |

i don't know if what KB shared works or not, but i have seen and experienced enough things in life to know that different things work for different people. not every body responds to the same treatment. a healing technique that works for 1 individual may not have any effect on another individual. experienced and open minded doctors will tell you the same thing. people ridicule what they don't know because they only understand the world from their perspective since they are only able to see the world through their eyes. don't believe it? let me relate this in tennis terms. when Fed hits an amazing shot, how do we describe it? "Did you see that ridiculous shot?" it's no coincidence that we say this. when we don't understand something, we think it's ridiculous. we are all unique beings so different things work for different people. for those folks who have practiced qi gong, they'll be familiar with the concept of energy and the use of energy to heal. for those folks, what KB is saying will make some sense. Someone else has probably beat me to this, but the 9.6 is 100 YARDS. 9.6 in HS is fast, but can be done. There is more speed in HS than you might think.

Four of them, with a few that were close behind at 9.9. I once asked the trach coach (we didn't have a track, only a straightaway next to the barbed wire/bart track), "Why don't you make them run 1/2 miles with me?" He did it once, and although they all had huge leads on me, by the last corner (at neighborhood park oval which had a howler monkey cage: Nicholl park, and they would hoot and scream each lap by), I smoked them all every time. Football players. Didn't care about distance training. This was Harry Ells high, now demolished, and four dead during my time there from gun shot. Even elementary school in Richmond had robbery/violence as a daily incident. Ghetto children, left over from the ship building era.
I would say it not only works with me, but with anyone who would try it as described, with pure intention/shoving pressure, stretch/strain on injury while doing so, alternating and three reps a day. Even if it's only a chance that it works, yet no one with guts enough to try it? To me, that says: "I'd rather be right than healed." Cowardly approaches gain cowardly rewards. How do you think a vibrator feels on a broken bone? Healed my break in three weeks. Last edited by kiteboard : 11-17-2012 at 07:42 AM. |
