C'mon, he will be back with a different style like some posters suggested here. For longevity, you know. Serve and volley, elegant slices.

the tweets I read from David Nadal
Out of curiosity, is that who tweets for Rafa? Does Rafa ever actually tweet? Some of the tweets do sound like him... although I have to say I prefer http://twitter.com/RafaNadull (no, that's not my account, but it's funny ).

Nadal equaled the longevity record this year, by winning at least one slam per year for 8 years in a row. In 2013 he passes federer. I don't think he should be changing anything, except for playing less hardcourt events (which he already said he will do).

David Nadal is no relation to Rafael Nadal. Just a journo who happens to share the same last name.

OK, thanks. I had assumed he was a family member. Still, I'm curious as to if anyone knows who does the tweeting...

Well I hope for his sake he takes it easy at the Australian open and not go out to win it. The comeback on a hard court isn't going to do him any good at least.

The best way to save your body at the Australian Open is to not drop a set, or drop as few sets as possible. That is why Nadal must give 100%. If he plays defensive, the points and the matches will be longer. 2010 US Open, is the prototype of how you save your body.

She will support anyone, who can beat Federer on a regular basis.

Preferably someone, who wins all the time. She loves being the winner, oh, she loves that.

I don't remember that. Anyone has a link?.

It sure sounds like him sometimes, on Twitter and Facebook. But it must be Benito as well.

Rafael is going to be so fresh and so hungry that he's going to completely dominate next season. I'm talking calendar year grand slam here, folks.

Nadal won't be playing any different to how he has been earlier this year, that's if he actually even plays at all.

Rafa's going to be so rusty and old, he won't even be a top 10 player.

There are too many links to find about this since he has said Nadal was coming back at least 3 times that I can remember,so I don't recall where they all came from. Maybe a google search would find it for you.

ETA: Here's one from the beginning of October saying he will start practice again in 10 days.

http://www.inselradio.com/2012/10/13...ennis-spielen/

Here's a quote from David Nadal's Twitter where Toni says Nadal will be back in a week. It's from Late September.

"Toni Nadal asegura a @esportsib3tv que Rafa volverá a los entrenamientos en poco más de una semana"

Here's the Twitter link, but you'll have to go back a bit to find it.

https://twitter.com/davidjnadal

Those are just a few of the times it has been predicited Nadal will be back practicing. They're liars, and I don't believe a thing they say. Until there are actual pictures and video of Nadal practicing on court with a racket in his hand,I call bs.

And for good measure, here's another one.

http://www.mallorcaesports.es/tenis/...o-de-10-o-15-d

And here'a video straight from the horse's mouth.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=5bmfgVNgOq8

Still doubt Toni said any of this stuff?

Me neither. He has been saying for months Nadal will be back and it has yet to happen. He should shut it instead of giving false info.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nadal never made it to #1 again. #2 or #3 is a BIG possibility though.
