No tension recommendations were given to me.

Tried Acura Control in a Volkl C10 pro at 55#. Great control, not so much pop. Wonder if this is an alternative to Head Rip Control? Price is right

It was very similar to Klip Venom I thought.

At nearly 1/2 the price? And easy to weave. What's next, long life too?

Anyone try any of these Pro's Pro multis yet?

I do as well. I haven't tried a gut/poly setup yet, but when I do I'm going to cross the gut with Black Iontec.

Mikeler, if I use a multi with a poly, would you use the multi as a main or cross?

I have not tried a multi/poly setup because I don't think it would last very long. Poly in the mains should provide more spin which is better for me too.

I've tried multi mains poly crosses. It plays well but durability is terrible. At least you won't be keeping your strings on your racquet long after the strings die.

I'm getting 15-20+ hours with Solinco Tour Bite 18 in the mains and RIP Control 17 in the crosses.

Got to the door of RPNY today but had to scurry back to the hotel. I'm still hoping to drop in there 1 day this week.

Dropped in RPNY today and asked if they sold a half set of their new multifilament string. The girl in there said sure, did a few hand to hand measurements, snipped the string, put it in a Zip Lock bag, took my credit card and I was out of there.

It was a fairly small place. The multi is rather yellow in color. I'm guessing it is a well known multi with some dye added but it looks to be high quality. I'll test out the 3 new Genesis multis in a few weeks and then try out the RPNY one after that.
