I think it should be MonkeyPause becuase TM is always saying how slow he is and bad knees and stuff.

Ive never tried the other seasonings they got they got so many. I just use the JO #1 on stuff like, corn, veggies, salads, meat, sandwiches, soup, gravy, popcorn, fish, and whatever else that is not ice cream ( I tried that once but it just stuck to the bottom of the spoon and I ended eating like a TBSP of JO at the end)

Ill swing in Mars today and see if they got they Game seasong. The sell #1 in 5lb tubs si they may have it.

Probably also need to pen one o those novelty books you see near cash registers: hollywood's memorable quotes.

Now if I can make sappy into a cartoon.

Paulman and tennismonkey= Paulman and the Monk-i

Though Paulman I'm not sure if you are large and in charge, so you'll have to explain who monk-i is amongst you 2.

Thejrk= I'm a little surprised you do the cooking. My impression of you is probably stained from your guacamole accident.. Well from most of your accidents. Figure the last place peeps want you near is flames, knives and raw meats.

Do I need to go to the ends of Endor to get wood for this smoke recipe?
I'll email it out tonight.

You're local home depot should have enough wood for your needs - heck, I can give you some if you want. I'm not grilling this thanksgiving and I think I have some left over woodchips -I'll take a look.

I use this recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...ipe/index.html

I don't put it in a bucket though. I put the brine in a really big plastic bag and then throw the turkey in the bag with the brine. Then throw the whole thing in the fridge. It's like a giant water balloon, except with brine and a turkey inside.

We adopt the families for X-mas not Thanksgiving. We work with a local charity in DC. This year, all the families come from parents who are veterans. They send the charity a list of what their kids would like (parents too) and we buy the gifts for them. Wrap them up and take them to the charity. We don't deliver them to the families directly.

Sometimes the family just wants clothes, other times they are more specific. Last year the mom said she was going to college to get her Associates Degree so we bought her a laptop. They had twin girls that always wanted to rollerblade so we got them a bunch of stuff for that. I think we got the dad a suit and a nice watch as he was interviewing for jobs.

+1 internet points to JRK for helping vets. if karma is real - you won't be coming back as a slug in your next life. maybe something more awesome like a unicorn or a honey badger.

i am not so charitable. but i did see a guy in his 20's on rockville pike claiming he was a vietnam vet and i didn't throw quarters at him. so that has to count for something.

thanks. I got some hardwood at home too from my last smoked pork shoulder craze. Thanks again for the recipe!

I'll be on after 9:30pm tonight (if my 6 month old goes to sleep on time...) I'll be the knife runner tonight. Also works pretty well in Nuketown in the houses.

I'll be lucky if I get on tonight at all. Need to get in a bit earlier than usual tomorrow for a long-azz meeting so I'll try to head to bed early. But that may not happen as it seems to twins don't like to sleep until about 10 or 11pm.

Well, the wife and I haven't bought each other gifts in 5 or 6 years, so that's where the money comes from.

Now we still buy stuff for ourselves obviously... that's why I had 8 pairs of tennis shoes at one point, lol. All those shoes and I was still a terrible player. I looked good losing though.

What's for lunch folks? Made Cholay yesterday on the slow cooker and it came up really well. It's part of my low fat, high protein diet. Let me know if anyone wants the recipe.
But why are ppl so chickpea adverse? I offer to make it as a side dish for TG, and all my relatives was running for the hills. Is it a bean thing?

If they just made it available to everyone they wouldn't need to bull that BS of removing the map.

Easy way would be to give pre-orders exclusive access for the first few weeks or a month or two then allow everyone to download at a later date.
