unfortunately usta ranks all your strokes, not just your slap forehand.

Really guys? That is very nice forehand technique. Definitely looks like the tool of a strong 4.5 player. We don't know what the rest of the game looks like, but if he has sound mental/tactical game, the serve and BH would have to be a long ways behind for him to drop below a 4.5.
I don't know what the goal of the video is, but it certainly doesn't throw a red flag against a claim of 4.5. I think it's a good forehand. Great racket speed and racket path. Footwork and loading and balance are very nice also. Even a few reverse forehands to deal with the quickness of the multipurpose surface. Nice job. |

footwork alone is much higher than 4.5

I would take a video that 1) Shows more than just your FH and 2) Is shot horizontally.

You're already more than half-way through to 7.0, so keep working on your game.

Also, in the first vid you look black and in the second vid you look white. Not to be mean, but are you the same person as yourself?

In this forum Roger Federer would be 3.5 if he cover his face.
Base on that forehand i am convinced that you are 4.5 or higher. |

If Fred got his face wrapped with duct tape, he'd be a solid 6.5 owned by 7.0 Nadal.

Well, it’s a jungle out there in the real world, as you may have heard from people you trust. Perhaps this forum is an opportunity to get a glimpse of the jungle relatively risk-free.

Wasn't there a thread where a guy post a video of pros hitting and people call them 3.5?

Yeah, Bud called a 7.0 a 4.5.
