A lot of my favs have been said but
In no real order 1. Murrays US Open win and London Olympic Gold 2. Ferrer winning a masters shield 3. Delpos strong indoor season, Olympic Bronze and WTF Semi 4. Nadals 7th French Open 5. Haas's resurgence back to the top 20 after a slow start 6. Fed winning Wimby (altho I was really pulling for Murray it being wimby), and reaching #1 7. Isners Davis cup victories over Switzerland (epic Fed match) and France 8.Berdych making US Open semis (not that he beat Fed really, but after his Wimbledon loss itwas a nice bounce back for him) 9. Nishi winning his home event 10. Fishs recovery from heart surgery and 4th round run at Wimby after the layoff 11. Venus Williams road back and winning Olympic gold in dubs after her diagnosis and getting to #25 12. Bryan Brothers Olympic Gold 13. Bakers minor breakout on clay Least Fav 1. All the players who retired: Kim, A-Rod, Gonzo, Ljubicic 2. Blue clay (just weird and random in my opinion) 3. Murrays clay season slumping 4. Nadals injury (him being out makes draws a lil less dramatic to follow) 5. Donald Youngs horrible play (I am not a fan but a lot of hype and time went into him) 6. Bhupathi and Bopanna being told they cannot play DC for India 7. Berdy being his usual Yoyo self 8. Weird/Stupid scheduling decisions (you know what I mean) 9. Nalby being over emotional and costing himself a match 10. Bryans bombing at the WTF Last edited by boredone3456 : 11-14-2012 at 02:40 PM. |

Hard to say which is better. Murray winning the Olympics and US Open or Nadal missing half the year. I also liked Djokovic owning Fed in his favorite tournament.

Favourite: (not in order but so many):
Nadal's 7th FO and great clay season (excluding Madrid Murray's Olympic Gold and USO win Djokovic winning AO, Shanghai (great match) and WTF as well as ending the year no.1 AO Final (Djokovic is a beast) Any Djokovic match where he saves match points Nishikori winning the Japan Open Serena dominating the WTA tour Vika winning the AO Federer winning Wimbledon (I could have just said 4 different slam winners lol) Jerzy Janowicz M&M winning the WTF doubles Least Favourite: The players who retired this year, I'll miss you A-rod Nadal missing half of the year :\ Murray and this trend of losing matches whilst holding match points Flukas Rosol, he deserved the win but has shown us nothing since then Tsonga, he has disappointed me this year And Wawrinka's epic tank in the 3rd set of that Shanghai match with Roger, as a fan I had to stop watching at 4-0

Federer getting to #1, breaking Sampras' record and winning another Grand Slam, which happens to be Wimbledon! Also Federer winning an Olympic singles medal is nice, although gold would've been better... Nishikori played a good tournament in Japan. Too bad he keeps getting injured. Loved how Janowicz surprised everyone at the Paris masters. I guess it's a good thing that top 4 each won 1 GS this year, you don't see that happen often. Ferrer winning a ms1000 is nice too. Czech winning the davis cup, beating Spain, which is the most dominant tennis nation at the moment.
Also, it was nice to see Nadal out for half a year because you could see how the field looks without Nadal there. Last edited by merwy : 11-22-2012 at 02:11 PM. |

Favourite
- Nadal capturing his 7th French Open Title. - Murray winning the Olympics and the USO and ending the year inside the top 3 for the first time ever. Least Favourite - Djokovic beating Murray and then Nadal narrowly at the AO (robbed me of another dream final and crushed my hopes twice). - Nadal missing half the season. - Murray losing the Wimbledon final and generally losing matches from winning positions by squandering MPs in 3 consecutive tournaments. - Top players complaining about Blue Clay. |

1. 5 hour slugfest to end Britain's slam drought / Andy winning olympic gold. When is the next time we'll see a home do that?
2. Rosol downing Nadal at wimby 2nd round. Last game of the match was truly cinematic. 3. Andy making wimbledon final worst: 1. andy losing wimbledon final |

Great to see all of the top four getting a GS win.
Murray's Gold Medal was nice to see. Blue clay and everyone humming the Smurf's tune. Australian Open was the best major again. |

In order
1. Federer winning Wimbledon 2. Federer getting back to number one 3. Djokovic's semi and final wins at the AO 4. Janowic's amazing run at the Paris masters 5. Djokovic's WTF win 6. Funnily enough, the bagel set Fed took off Djokovic in Cinci - like both players, but was imressive to see old Fed duffing Djokovic up like that

Nope. Cvac played like crap. Would have been different if he had played well when Nadal beat him those 3 times. I doubt Nadal would have beaten him if he had actually showed up. What do you mean by this?
