I won't be able to tell much about string life for a while. It usually takes me a few weeks until I am 100% mentally sure about the new setup, and can really lean on the ball.

My first couple of stringjobs last easily double what becomes the norm.

Signed up for first tournament in almost a year.

Court conditions are usually terrible, and draws are usually small, but it is 15 mins from home.

So far one 4.5ish, and one 5.5ish player have signed up, usually a bunch more pile in at the last minute.

Im doing a shiraz, ginger and chicken breast stir fry with no rice thing tonight.

Ok, tournament entry list looks set, will update with draws.

Looks like one 4.5ish, one good 5.0ish, and a current DI 5.5ish.

We will see, never played anyone in the tournament before which is a first since I usually know everyone.

Going to put the Prestige on the shelf for the weekend and use my 90s for tonight and Friday's practice and then use them for the tournament. Playing dubs tonight, then hitting with a very good player after, then Friday hitting with Mr. Pickle.
