Default Ektelon Model H Mounts

The Mount for the racquet head on my model H is loose, IE when I insert the mount into the place and push down the little lever, it does not tighten up, is there anything I can do for this? Worried about racquets slipping

Thanks

First, clean the mount stem, the hole it goes into and the area around the lever (every nook and crannie) thoroughly with alcohol. Just like what happens with the clamps and glide bars, over time, residue from string coatings can affect the mounting mechanism. If that does not solve the problem, there is a small hex screw at the base of each mounting base (right by the holes in which you insert the mounting stem). Those hex screws are used to adjust the mounting mechanism. Let us know how it works out. Good luck.

Had already given it a clean, but the hex screw did the trick,, feels good as new- these machines really are tanks...

Many thanks

What are called "dogs" are worn out. You can replace them yourself if you have any mechanical aptitude (I did when I had mine, and I'm lousy at that kind of stuff). You can get them at Tennismachinesinc.com. They're pretty cheap, and he can explain how to replace them.

yup, get a "dog kit". They do wear out frequently. One of the few weak points on the H/Neos. Whoops, But first try the a counter-clockwise rotation on the hex bolt from the top. This is a tightening adjustment for the system-

Sorry, just read Max ply response. Ditto to this-
