Default Tennis is Taipei Taiwan

Hey TT'ers,

I haven't posted in a long while since I've moved to Taiwan for a year long quest to study abroad.

Since I'm here for the long haul, I just wanted to let those out here (or those coming to Taipei) I'm always available to play some good ole tennis (sets, rallies, etc.) I live very close to National Taiwan University (台大)。

Just hit me up here!

I'll be visiting Taipei for about a week towards the end of November,
but will be there for work. Might have some time after my job finishes.

I'll be there Dec 1 -7, but working for some of those days. Won't know my
exact work days until some time next week.
Not sure where my hotel will be but probably somewhere in Taipei.

Awesome! I'm a student at NTU so we can use the courts here.

Are there indoor courts at NTU? Looks like rain it's raining.

Negative. Winter here in Taipei is raining season apparently...I didn't know that coming into the country haha. Hopefully the heavens will line up with our scheduled play.

I'm a solid 4.0 if it's worth your time! I'm always down to hit with fellow TT'ers!

Perfect!

Can you set something up for Saturday AND Sunday (23 + 24) and let me know where to meet you?
I arrive TPE on the 23rd at 14:30. We could meet at 18:00 or so for TWO hours of hitting.
I am covering the cost of the courts!

Let me know at dradic011 AT hotmail com

Thanks!

Sorry bud, I actually only brought one racquet here and never had to worry about string breakage so much as I use poly as my main set up. And string labor is much cheaper here than in the US

Sure thing! We should be able to play at National Taiwan University courts. They even have red clay courts (only 2).

Cool.
However, I prefer the HC.
If you prefer clay, we can do it...

I'm much rather at home on HC. I was just stating that there are red clay courts here in Taipei. I'm from SoCal so the only "clay" courts we have are hartru, so it was definitely a must do for me.

Off topic but, are you still using the VCore 97 Tour, 330? If so, can you give me your present impressions ?
