Are you kidding me ? you are saying Swingweight can vary from 306 to 325 ? Those are 2 completely different rackets, you are talking about. also then why does most places have the static weight as same ?

A static weight is easier to target than a swingweight, but again the static weight on tw is an average.
The sw on twu is 306 for the standard and 330 for the plus, but on the description pages they are averages. Both the drive and apd came in with lower average swingweights and the reviews have noticed this, so its accurate. But because of the perhaps wider variation of spec this time around its more of a lucky dip unless you specifiy what you want with this upgrade.

What if that one doesn't exist in their pool of 100 rackets on the shelf?

Upgraded version of the racquet, but yes they used to try to get your preferred swingweight range for free, but I think they now make a small fee to get roughly what you want.
I've not used the service but apparently you need to call.

Considering that there is about a 10 +/- point increase in swing weight of the Plus versions of the PD 2012, PDR 2012 over the standard length version I would say the 314/316 for standard AeroPro Drives and 326 for the Plus version would be accurate.

TWE cannot have any specs for the 2013 APD. The 2013 version is not available in Europe before December 1.

Mid-west has Aeroprodrive 2013 swingweight as 329. how do you explain that ? they just don't know how to measure SW ?

I think the answer there is that variations in weight and in the placement of the weight along the racquet frame, when combined with variations in balance point, are reasonably small changes that can have a big effect on swingweight.

Even Wilson has much better quality control than that.

I'm reluctant to buy Wilsons because of spec issues, but havent had a problem with Babolat.
But i've found Babolat to have build issue qualities. I find Nike to have build issue qualities so people buy a brand for all sorts of reasons.

If you haven't found babolat to have spec issues, then how do you explain this much variance in swingweight in aeropro drive 2013 ?

Hmmm, maybe that is the case. While it did come out in the 2nd year of the last model, that was the first time they had done a RG model. I assumed they would continue with them.

I haven't bought enough multiple copies of the same Babolat racquet is the simple explanation.
There have been other examples of racquets coming in with unusual swingweights, but this Babolat crop may be a little unusual. In any event, both the pd and apd are swinging on the light side unless you get lucky or unlucky.

I dont like the paintjob since it deviates too far from the original.
