Very kind of you sir. I would say the same, except I "met" you quite a while ago and enjoy your posts!

That man would be your esteemed self, and the thread would be your magnum opus from 3 years ago. Its hard to hang around the boards without reading about it.

I will add to your credit that I thought you were very gracious about RF once he won the silver. It takes a big man to do that. Pleasure to finally meet you!

Unlikely my friend. I do applied micro - which is the furthest thing from being able to predict the economy. (Not that the macro guys do a much better job of it.)

Fair enough. Point taken and my apologies. Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for sticking up for me!

Although, to play devil's advocate against myself, I did claim to have been hanging around the boards for 18 months. One could reasonably argue I should have known.

Anyway, you only introduce yourself once right?

On that note, and this may or may not be a popular opinion, but I really enjoy a lot of the posts by the super Nadal fans ***, 636160, Rafa2005RG, NadalWon2012, Bullz1lla etc.

I may not always agree with their conclusions, or share their allegiances; but variety in view points engenders a more complete discussion in any community. They certainly tend to provide a unique perspective and food for thought.

I can safely say I have learned a lot from reading their discussions with other folks. I certainly know more about Nadal than I would otherwise, being a Fed fan.

If you are from Sweden like Rock Strongo, you either started following tennis a long time ago, or you won't follow tennis at all. Don't see how you could start NOW

Ha. I've never really posted on online forums before this. So at the moment I can't quite imagine getting enraged at a completely anonymous correspondent over the internet.

(It's only a matter of time before this post makes me eat copious quantities of crow. And yes, you can feel free to bump the above when I get banned for uttering foul obscenities!)

Keep the expectations low and you won't be disappointed my friend!

If I recall correctly you live in the Netherlands correct? Hope you looking forward to Rotterdam next year!

Hello to you too! As I told Jokinla it may only be a matter of time before my shy and tentative online personality mean reverts and comes to reflect my perfectly ordinary and impolite real world persona.

Hey - is there anything I can do to move this thread to the correct forum? Thanks for your help.

The mods would take care of that if they felt the need.
