liquid metal line- 4, 8, prestige, instinct, radical, etc.
The Radical MPs are not tweeners. Light players frames. Some of older Rads came in about 12 oz

Pick one and enjoy. They all play fairly similar. Pick the one that gives you the most control, head speed and comfort.
no way Extreme Pro is a tweener. It's 12 oz and high swingweight.

some great tweeners IMO:

Juice 100
V1 Classic
Biomimetic 6
PD12
Instinct (old and new)
Pro Open
Warrior
Becker DC Pro
Volkl PB7

people around here really stretch the "tweener" definition IMO.
to me the prototype "tweener" is the Volkl V1 Classic.

Völkl PB 8 315

Powerful and comfortable, nice feel and a lot of spin ( 16 x 18 )

Does the aero storm fall into this category? Why? Why not?

Currently in limbo. I've tried a few setups and have liked all of them.

Tried rpm team/nvy @55, full TNT2 @58, and lightning xx 16 @60.
I added 6g of tape at 12 but didn't like it. Then 3g at 3 and 9 which inshould have stuck with and might go back to. Currently it's a bare frame. Also, it's a 3/8 with two pro overgrips.

I'm in the exact same state you are. Tried a couple and liked them all. So I decided to go on the budget setup since it didn't really matter. I still have a ways to go on my technique but I can tell what I enjoy hitting with and what I don't.

MSV focus 17 @ 55 and Gosen OG @ 57. $10

Ill probably experiment with some lead tape since my session yesterday made me feel that the racquet is a little underweight. I'll take your advice and go with the 3 and 9.

I have a i.extreme from around 2004 that still does a good job.

These days I play with a BLX pro open, but the i. extreme is still very competitive.
Only in the serve department it really falls short. Can't compare with newer extremes though.
