Ali, you use rdis10093's frame. What would you recommend for a stiff poly (was using Revenge 17 before)?

Wait Adam, did you ever try Tour Bite? I didn't choose it purposely since the cross string you provided is not durable at all. However, Tour Bite/Nvy is a tried and true formula.

many years ago in a full bed at low 60ish tensions, might be worth a second look.

Yeah....it is not exactly ideal at high tensions. Regardless, you'll likely shred your regular Bab syn using it (again which is why I chose not to use it), so a more durable 16g cross would be ideal. Either way, I am not confident that you'll find a string like Revenge. That said, you do have to keep in mind that you played Revenge in a hybrid with Recoil. Both strings are discontinued now. The only other option I can think of is something like Lux Ace, but that's not going to give you long playability at all.

No idea, I assume that you just email if you want one and perhaps pay on pickup? Not really sure; I have no money for one haha.

In the 95D?

I'd forget stiff, the frame is not fond of it. BUT should you want something obnoxiously stiff go for barbed wire by TB. It's literally wire. Another fairly low cost option (at least, I thought) was Volkl Cyclone. Or just jump to kevlar. Kevlar is the stiffest haha.

I haven't gotten on court but I'm going to try my kevlar/poly soon.

I think that the 95d has almost to much power and that it needs a stiff string. something like a soft poly just makes it all to much power. what do yours string yours with?

Stiff does not equal low power when it comes to strings. Example: Head Sonic Pro is stiffer than Mantis Comfort Synthetic by a large margin. MCS provides next to no power whatsoever in comparison.

Oh Babolat, how I love you so.

You give me 2 months of use, and I get two pairs of shoes. Seriously, Babolat, please give the Propulse 4 a more durable toe. Or, give it the toe of the Propulse 2 but the body of the 3. That's the best I can think of. Because this is simply absurd (these are the replacement pair I got Sept 28 ):

Someone asked in another thread what a toe-dragger is. I am one with my left toe, as evidenced by my less than 2 month old shoes.

I drag my right foot on serve, so I'm a little confused how the left one has the hole?

Note how I slow my forward movement in case I don't want to approach. Also, I use it as a brake on slices which I hit a lot of:

pvaudio,

you're in breach of contract - how come you put holes in babolats when judging by the picture you should be wearing nikes?

I am not some tw fanboy, I playtested this racquet several yeas ago in 2010 when it first came out. I remember that it had way more power than the rdis, and that was one of the reason that I did not like it. that being said though, I do very much so agree with their review. Anyway though, does not tw say that stiff strings give less power in the review?

I am not challenging the string king or anything, but aren’t all soft polys way more powerful than stiff polys?

not neccessarily - the softer ones surely have a different rebound angle which launches the ball eventually longer, which in turn is percieved as more powerful. i found out that one of the most important aspects is the speed at which the stringbed basically comes back upon impact. some stiff strings will be slow but some of the stiff ones which naturally will have a small deflection will also rebound very fast, thus being pretty powerfull in the sense of energy return - at least this is the way i interpret things and i do not say that the terms used by me are scientifically correct (i'm not a native speaker, so i eventually mess up some of these terms).

No. WC Mosquito Bite is quite soft. Tour Bite is much more powerful. Bab Pro Hurricane is one of the softest on the market. RPM, ALU, Pro Red Code, Big Hitter Silver, Genesis Hexonic, all with more power and stiffness.
