Thats a pretty good idea.

The contract Im currently working on is over at the end of Feb. There is a good chance I would have just not told anyone said i got a job somehwere else and been gone. That way poeple would hit me up for money or treat me differently.

Im sure I would have tons of epolpe wanting to get in touch with me that i brely knew in high school opr while I was in military.

I would prety much turn into a crotchety old man overnight to anyone not in my immeiate crircle that came asking for handouts.

Only had one of the 5 numbers and the powerball right. Good for 4 bucks at least.

Correct PB (6) by itself paid the $4.

Biggest lottery jackpot in Germany in recent years was about 40 million €.

I tried sooooo hard to win, but of course didn't make it.

I would have done:
- quit the job
- move to a place where the word "winter" is unknown
- buy a house there
- buy a nice car
- give about 10 million € to my best friend, so he can quit his job too and come with me. Having all the money in the world is worthless, if you're alone and all your friends have to work while you're living the life of a king.

My friend would have done the same, so we doubled our chances...

^^^Not referring to your BFF but winners need be wary of their entourage...a woman in Central Florida is currently on trial for the murder of a $30mil Lotto winner...his body was found a couple of years after disappearing mysteriously. She is accused of burying him under the concrete slab of a new home under construction. The phrase, "all power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely", is similar to my thoughts about big money...it can be s big headache.

Thats why I owuld be an A-Hole. But i would buy the bowling alley and greatly reduce the costs of league fees. Id try to open a tennis center and a bowling alley and just have them operate at cost to give poeple somethign to do.

I know what you mean... but we're not speaking about women here, we're talking about a 40-year-old friendship between two guys. We know each other since we sat next to each other in school from day 1 on. He was my best man, I was his. We shared everything, went through good and bad times...

Without any doubt ore hesitating I would share a big lottery win with this man.

2 white balls and the red ball got me $7.

Was mildly surprised by the patterns observed in historical winning numbers.

Great you have that bond! That's why I wrote I wasn't referring to your situation. These other "fortunate" winners become magnets for skullduggery that, in the case I referred to, can sometimes even be fatal.

PB now only goes to 35, thus the fall-off between 36-43.

In the same boat with you...except upon hearing counsel from a lottery "expert" that has won several jackpots, I now pick my own numbers and stick with them.

Yeah, the low frequencies in 50+ numbers for white ball are puzzling.
I downloaded the raw data directly from the Powerball website and it involved about 1500 draws.
The powerball was capped at 35 in January 2012.

Isnt that just pure luck that an expert claims picking your own numbers is better. The odds are alwasy 1 in 175 million no matter who does the picking? And how in God's green earth does anyone win the lottery several times?

Maybe the extra ink wighs the numbers down enough so they dont come out

So why did they cap the PB. 1 in 250trillion or whatever was too much so they had to drop it 1 in 175trill

In his 30-sec blurb on one of the news show, he suggested staying away from the quick-pick and stick with any combo you decide on. If you play often then there's more chance your sequence catches the "lightning in a bottle"...still 1 in 175mil but the second time it's 1 in 88.5 mil and so on.

As to his winning ways, he's never cashed a PB draw but has won several of the more frequent, lower-odds games...in FL we have a six-number Lotto (no PB) twice weekly, a four-number/mega ball twice weekly and the nightly five-number Fantasy 5. There are many multiple winners of the Fantasy 5 and it's jackpot can go into the low 1mil range if it rolls over.

Why would you do that if you have several hundred million dollars? You could have almost any woman you want.
