I'm very careful to avoid cheaply-made gear. IMO, gear that is falling apart even when it's new isn't worth owning...even if it's almost free.

But, I have one of the black BLX backpacks and it is very well made. I've been using it all summer and it still looks great. I recommend it.

But the basic materials, design and construction? I could never use a Wilson bag after using this.

Posture Guy have you tried the Pacific Basalt-X Black Pro Thermal 2XL Bag?

Highest quality bag? Get one made. I've send pics and specs of a bag to a company which makes bags and they're making a pattern for me. I can't find a single decent bag which isn't covered in logos or shiny bits - I just want a plain bag which doesn't look like a Christmas tree.

When design or sample comes back I'll post a pic.

More info please..... And does it cost an arm and a leg? Are you going to pull your unbranded rackets out of your unbranded bag?

Back when I had the Babolat Aero bag I remember that it was pretty nice. Currently have a Tecnifibre VO2 max 9pk and love it. Very well made and the straps/padding are simply the best I have ever used. Only thing I wish was that it had a thermal compartment.

Got a wilson tour 9 bag in black and gold and I am loving this thing. The zippers glide a lot smoother than my other bags, the pockets are the best of any bag I have had, and it holds everything with room to spare while being a slimmer bag than what I had before. This bag is only $60 right now and in my opinion is perfect. It has a padded cell phone pocket and a pocket you can put reels of strings in on the other side. It looks fantastic in person as does the white/red and the blue white. They all look exceptionally good.

As long as this bag holds up as well as my past Dunlop and Yonex, it will easily be the best one I have owned.

I think the Tour bags are the most high quality wilsons. Some guy at a tennis shop tried to tell me that federer 12 bag was the same thing and I had trouble taking him seriously after that.

The tour bag I have has moisture and thermal compartments. Not a huge deal to me, but it does have both.

They look really well made - compare that to the HEAD Tour Team Combi 6 at the same price!!

Too bad I'm a stickler for using the same bag brand as my sticks.

Cmon, we are not pros. Who cares if bag is different from rackets. These babolat bags are BEST in the world. These Thermal compartments are so Good that in 110 degree summer heat, my drinks and rackets stay ice cold. and rackets are protected in nuclear heat or anartica ice.

and the Aeropro bag I bought about 4 years ago looks like Brand new today.

Does anyone have experience with the current line up of Yonex Pro bags? Considering a pro 6 pack red/white or blue/ black color schemes. Would have liked the older red/ black color scheme from a couple of years ago but those seem to have sold out.

Yes, I have a Yonex Pro 6-pack and it's a great quality bag. It's the blue 2011 model, with the mid-green lower trim orange/gold liner rather than the current one with large black trim and a lime green liner.

The 6-pack is the perfect size (though a 9 is also available if you bring more than 3 sticks plus gear) and it's stood up very well to two years of regular use.

It doesn't have thermo areas and all that, but in the SoCal summers drinks still stay just fine so long as they're shut inside of it. For pure quality it's a great tennis bag.

Thank you for the reply. I'm disappointed that they don't have the thermo lining, being in Georgia we have heat and humidity all year long. It's 78 degrees here today!

I'm glad to hear that they're made of durable materials though. That might just be the incentive I was looking for to make the purchase. Really considering the red/ white bag as it matches the Vcore line so well. Considering my last racquet was a ProStaff 4.5si from '91 an the racquet bag was a purple/black Nike Flaming Agassi bag, I'll probably own these for several years.

If you dont care about brand, than the wilson Tour 9 is a much better bag IMO. I had the yonex, and while it is very good, I much prefer the wilson. they have a red/white one that looks awesome.
