I went to text Pickle "It's on!" and my phone nearly autocorrected it to "It's PMS!".

Which would've been awkward.

And the funny thing about that is autocorrect learns the words you use frequently!

I am not jolly right now. Remembering why I decided that these tournaments suck.

First match Friday 7pm, second match Friday 8:45pm.

In what universe is it ok to ask someone to play potentially 6 sets at night after a day of work?

I'm going for 3rd set tiebreakers, just to be a jerk.

1.5 hrs for 2 sets and potentially a 3rd set tiebreaker seems a bit rushed to me.

I've played 2 seters that lasted 2 hours in tournaments.

Sounds like they figured the skill differential in the unseeded players will guarantee a quick finish of the first round.

Full 3rd set.

My matches tend to take a while, even when I get my *** kicked.

The force was not with me last weekend, and I ran into an asskicking.

Other guy was quite good, and played really well, I was kind of out of it and played really tight. Could barely serve at all, and it was obvious that I hadn't played a singles match that mattered in a long time.

But I had fun, and am looking forward to the next one, and hopefully a bunch in '13. Just need some match play under my belt again, and to alter my mindset a bit.

Re: The prestige.

I gave it up for a week since I had the tournament and a bunch of friendly dubs matches, but hit with it again last night. It is still nice, and I am adjusting to it.

Waiting to get mine in 5/8 as there seems to be some sort of delay.

Also the buttcap, or pallet on the demo I've been using has loosened up and the thing now creaks like an old wooden sailboat. Much the same as my BLXPSs. So I am thinking it is likely buttcap.

Which blows.

But oh well.

Keep calm and swing hard.

Super busy lately. It isn't dead, just took a detour down the path of bourbon and shame.

Some kind of delay getting one in 5/8.

Using Wilsons in matches.

I missed the entry deadline for the National. Gonna have to play on standby.
