thanks, afraid if I parboil it, will it make the meat tough? I have 3 70+ family members coming. My parents will kill me if they left their dentures on my ribs.

i might just dry rub it and grill it and maybe finish it off in the slow cooker?
If you parboil, it should make the meat fairly soft and moist - considering it's sitting in boiling water. It's not the way I usually go though....

1. TWMAC, please list your main racquet
- dats uses IG Speed although BLXPROs lurking in closet

2. TWMAC, what poly do you recommend for me? I've been using BlackCode17 in my IG Speeds, but I strung it at 57lbs and outside of dead center it has zero power. I tried a hybrid too in my other racquet but like a dumazz i strung that at 60/57 lbs with Yonex 850Pro and Black Code. Feels just as bad and with less spin! I guess I should try stringing them at 54lbs before switching strings... but man the top of the hoop especially feels like glass breaking everytime i hit the ball. I like the crisp explosiveness of BlackCode17 usually but i guess in an 18x20 pattern the high tension took all of it away.
I've also been thinking about hybriding with a cheaper string like Black Shark or Yonex PolyTour Pro 125.
I also have heard great things about Solinco Tour Bite but Barb Wire would look better in my racquet.
Anybody string experts that like Black Code have any advice?
P.S. - this is for 9.0 ukraine style tennis. its very advance and teknikal!

I played auzzie recently and I would have KRUSHED him if not for my krazy high tension on my stoopid racquets. why do i always make these mistakes and let him off the hook every time. he needs to know my superior tennis capabilities even at my advanced age and zero practice.
trust me i am still super awesome at 57lbs but i just think 54lbs or maybe even less and my rally ball will become winner ball and my drop shots become aces down the T!
ok, me go drink more now. bb

your frames felt great!! no breaking glass sensation, and Blackcode was super solid. check the video!

oh and btw, TourBite will prob be too stiff feeling for you compared to BlackCode. PTP was decent feeling, and I'd be curious how Black Shark plays...

played outside today and mildly twisted my ankle, I think I need to get rid of my barricades. playing in upper 40's temp is not bad if there is sunlight. and I was wearing shorts too.
tried my fh 4.0 in hopes to lock in my wrist. so far so good. anyone want to play with a crippled guy with erratic fh? no applications needed..

me too. black shark is $6 a pack with their 4pack deal and barely a mention of it on the boards. i guess ill just stick with black code.

and mr. auz.. in the video, all to often i hit a nice backhand to middle of the court and then you blast it for a backhand winner into the fence. all of my shots could have used a bit more pizazz on them.
at least my strings were fresh back then though. now they are too high tension and old too.. which is even worse!
i should have cut it out weeks ago (after i barely won 7-6 with speeds,against a guy i beat with blxpros 6-1,6-1) but i hate cutting out expensive string.

i wonder if i should try another hybrid experiment just to see. i didn't mind full FXP 16 in the demo. i guess i have all winter to futz around with it.

~~~ auz, what strings you using? still happy with Isner stick?
sorry zap. in order to feed my 3 sticks per household addiction, have to work... =(
btw, has anyone ordered prescription eye glasses online before? if so, what's the quality and any recommendations? It's like 1/3 of the price at brick and mortar stores.
ive been hybriding with X-1 and blackcode. Ive been going X-1 mains around 50-52 and black code in the cross 54-56 in the range.
Thats in the lunker 325 that weight closer to 425.
If I was putting it in my Rd-ti 80's I would add 3-4 lbs to to each becuase thyey are so strong.
Havent been able to get close to X-1 in another string. Since I use the poly in the cross I could probbaly get away with just about any of the softer polys. Never got much a difference spin wise between red or black or when I got with big ace or blue gear as well. Cant comment full jobs, or poly mains becuase i havent used it in so long.
no, i'm around Sydney
Yeah I love TourBite too. Great string, but I just had the feeling Dats might find it stiff compared to the strings he uses.
I just strung up one iStock with Cyclone, but I am hoping to do Blue Gear mains next and BBO crosses. The Black Shark interests me because I assume it will be spinny like Blue Gear.
You were getting tons of pop with the Speeds and Blackcode. I think these problems are all in your head. You may have to work harder because of the lower power, but I think if you do, there's a good reward! I loved your frames!!
There were some awesome rallies in that video. We both looked better than our level at times!
hi Auzzie, have u heard of a NZ actress named Kimberley Crossman? my son is really into power rangers and she is making several appearances in the last couple of shows. was reading that she is pretty popular back home.
@zap I got a pack of bab tonic from one of my buddies that teaches at a local country club. never strung with the real stuff before. any precautions I should take b4 I destroy $35 in strings? thinking of hybriding with comfort syn gut to see how it feels.
yep. you carefully hand the gut to me, and i will take it from there
gut can be tricky. its easier to show you in person, but basically take it nice and easy. if you can adjust pull speed make it slowest. theres a special way to pull the crosses when you weave too.
(by the way i am down to about 18min per string job now)
