btw, has anyone ordered prescription eye glasses online before? if so, what's the quality and any recommendations? It's like 1/3 of the price at brick and mortar stores.
i was going to because i lost my glasses in sandy. so it looks like al you pay for is shipping. but when i called they said it would take like over 10 days, and theres still some hidden handling fee they stick you. but its still cheaper. i opted not to because in the end i wanted to try before i decide you know?

My Vision insurance is pretty good. If I get the cheapy frames and lenses its less than 50 bucks. But the upgrade stuff costs. but they charge for that on the mailorder deals as well.

But you can always just get one of the cheapy 7 dollar pairs with no options and see how they work. If I wore them alot maybe Id try to see that way I wouldnt feel so bad if I broke them.

thanks for the suggestions. Well the update is, which I took a leap of faith on is I just trusted an online company for something that needs an qualified expert to help on. Due to my lens thickness, I had to get the thinner lense and the discounts only applies to the frame only. I knew I should of read the fine print when it says 50% off. But final costs is $60. Not too bad considering, my last pair costed me $200. Now hopefully, i get to see straight when on the courts. You'll know when my glasses aren't working properly when I see tmonk and JRStriker hitting 2HBH's.

$50 is a great deal! I have a friend who is former military and pays next to nothing for glasses. I always envy the deals he gets.

so what's for lunch folks? Hopefully with my broken glasses, I get to see double when it comes to food. Maybe this means I can get the feel that I ate 2x as much.

I saw that on tennislink. Funny, I didn't realize that if my wife & I had played, we could have played against you in the 7.5 Loudon league. I'm registered w/ the Dominators, but due to "child activity scheduling" haven't played a match, probably will not bother at this point.

In fact, has anyone ever had any luck getting reimbursed for registering then never playing?

CB - you have coke bottle glasses? back in the day before lasik i had really bad nearsightedness. -8.5 in both eyes.

zapvor - i tried learning a 2 hander but i was awkward and tentative. kinda like you with that girl. how about we both bite the bullet and meet our fears head on? i get a reliable backhand and you get someone to shampoo your hot dog.

wookie - i'm looking at a used mdx with nav and that ceiling dvd. do you know if their are video/audio jacks to connect an xbox?

downs / paul - i am off for 2 weeks in the middle of december. i wanna hit. i'll even come out to the boonies of va.

i'm doing a wilson demo day next week for their new spin effect racquets. has anyone tried these ultra open string patterns yet?

TM - yes, my MDX has several inputs in the console for the passengers in the rear, just below the rear climate controls.
