Default Tennis Coach advice

Hi,

I just want to ask some advice from other coach

How will you train Kids that want to be competitive if he take 2 session of 1 hour a week with you ?
Knowing that the kid is doing doing fitness (Soccer, Fitness lessons, ...) outside of the court.

Do you just feed the ball from the baseline, for his technique, and his foot work ?

or do you do other things ? (like see with the parent what goals can be set, planning, advice, ...) or is it an extra ?

Thanks

Kid...
He needs work on strokes, strategy, movement, attitude, replication, odd shots, basic shots?
Leave yourself open to suggestions from Dad, but otherwise, it's strokes and where to hit them.

That's why, you as his dad, should be doing some research and coaching/feeding/drilling/etc. him on some of the other days of the week. Trusting the coach with everything doesn't generally end well.

Yep, but some coach in this board seems to be trust full and really are perfectionist.

Are you telling me that the real coach are parents ?

Be careful... once I hooked up my teen with a "coach" for weekly lessons my tennis cred took an enormous hit
