WTF: Depending on how much he wants this one, I think he could win it for sure. For example, if Roger doesn't win a slam in 2013, he'll want to win this as a "consolation" prize for sure. If Rog doesn't get a slam win in 2013, I can see him going all out for the WTF like in 2011.

Overall: Depending on how his schedule turns out, I think Roger's 2013 could be a good one. If he doesn't show up rusty (due to the low # of tournaments) he could do really well! At his age I would think that being fresh would be the #1 priority, and his planning could lead to a good year. I'm not saying #1 (since he'd have to do really well at all tournaments to have a chance), I'm not even saying multi-slam (though you can't really rule that out since it's Roger Federer), but I think he could maybe win a slam, maybe make a few finals, and finish top 4 again. Allez Roger!

Not that optimistic in honesty.

Federer might have a chance to pick up maybe one slam next year.

Federer cant seem to beat novak or nadal without completely outplaying them, which happens pretty rarely these days.

Murray is also now going to be a big obstacle.

Followed by a stellar (for a 32-33 years old) 2014.

Off clay Federer has beaten Djokovic two of the three times they've played this year. Including clay it's 3-2 to Djokovic.. Federer had a pretty lacklustre clay season this year - possibly a half-arsed effort to put more into Wimbledon and the short turnaround for the Olympics.

In the past two season at majors Djokovic is ahead 3-2. In 2012 it was 1- all.

Against Murray, Federer does even better with a 3-2 lead in 2012.

It's not really what you could call rarely imo.
