Yeah that's right people, I'm calling the i.Prestige Mid a classic.
+1 for me also. I prefer the PC600 in trek font version over the ones designed in Austria.

ti.Fire tour. For my entire career as a relevant tennis player I used those rackets.

Hah! Kids! Let's go back a couple of decades, at least, to find "classic" rackets!

To me, classic doesn't need to be old, but good and valuable beyond the specs. And that's why I listed the i.Prestige Mid.

Indeed, when dealing with automobiles or guitars, "classic" usually denotes at least 25 years old. Five or ten years old is obsolete or superceded, but hardly classic.

The new, 2012-2013 Aston Martin Vantage V12 is a classic.

No, it's not. It's a new car, but likely to be a future classic.

Then clearly Wilson was at fault for naming the black/yellow/red Pro Staff 6.1 CLASSIC.

I mean, how dare they to put the word "classic" upon release?!

That does not qualify according to their absolute definition (source?) of what it is to be a classic.

The same way companies market 'Professional', 'Dominator', 'Exclusive', 'Super Winner' 'Autograph'(with NO autograph), etc., etc.

As I recall, the 6.1 'Classic' mold was new at the time...hardly a 'classic' of any sort. NOW that it's 20+ years old, we can talk.
