Unfortunately, most of my MX racing was District36, NorCal. Raced every track up here multiple times except for HelvitiaPark in Sacto, which closed after my first race at Carnagie. GlenHelen was supposed to be woody for SoCal, twisty and sandy.
You should race Open class. It's usually the safest, the least crashes and bar banging, and the most fun because you don't do the above.
125's are fast small kids.
250's are the craziest fast young guys.
Open is controlled mayhem, not just mayhem and adrenalin mixed with stupidity.
And Vet races seldom produce spectacular crashes.
