Default 95 prostaff strings

Would rpm blast 16 and gamma livewire xp 16 be a decent hybrid for a 95. And what other setupswould you use on it.

I'm not a huge fan of that frame, but I'd go with a full bed of something like Head RIP control 16. A nice all around somewhat stiff string that offers good spin.

What other frames would you think of that are similar. Still on the fence between that and the prestige s.

Keep in mind that those 2 racquets have very different handle shapes.

In that spectrum of racket I prefer my current racket tech tfight vo2 max, rebel 95, dunlop 200 lite and the yonex and volkl rackets with similar specs. Don't know much about the prestige line, as mentioned above, not a big fan of the handle shapes.

Ok thanks. But as far strings go how would the set I mentioned at the top work?

That would seem to me to make the frame a little too boardy, I'd prefer something with a little more feel, but you know your game best.

So what would you use instead of the rpms?

Well I don't know how you play or what you are looking for. Maybe black widow would be a good main if you like to hit with topspin

You still haven't answered the question as to what level you play, what your play style is, etc.

I play with the BLX PS 95. Since it is a fairly low powered racquet, I believe you can use strings that are more powerful than a full poly. I use Klip gut (17 guage) in the mains and a soft poly in the crosses. The gut adds some power (and of course, feel) the poly in the crosses adds spin and control.

All-court, fairly flat hitter so I'm looking for a string to give me a little more power. between a 3.5 and 4.0, closer to 4. want a fairly durable setup that is low maintenance and fairly inexpensive.

Poly is very high maintenance. It's durable, but it dies (loses elasticity) very quickly. I've only gotten into them because I have my own stringer.

If you are a flat hitter, you may find that gut lasts quite awhile for you. Probably longer than the useful life of most polys. If you put the poly in the crosses, you still get some of the added benefit of playing with a poly and the loss of tension/elasticity of the poly is minimized when you put it in the crosses
