I asked this question at the beginning of 2003 and was told by Don that the PS 6.0 95 will be available from TW until at least the end of 2003 and that Wilson will keep making them and supplying them to TW as long as people keep buying them. Is this still the case? It seems many people are still buying them so will Wilson continue to make them and supply them to TW indefinitely?
With rumours of the demise of the PS 6.0 85, I'm a little concerned that Wilson will soon stop making the PS 6.0 95, too. Thanks.

As an avid 6.1 user, I am also interested. Not the same racquet of course, but how is TW's stock of 6.1's (classic) doing? And does Wilson make anymore or have any left over for you guys at TW still?

I e-mailed Wilson a month ago about the Wilson Prostaff 6.0 95 and Wilson Prostaff 6.0 85. They told me that they had stop production of the 95 at the end of 2002. And as for the 85, they will continue making them. I was told this from a representative of Wilson. Hope this helps

Well, that's very odd because that means Wilson stopped production of the PS 6.0 95 almost two years ago but TW and many other online retailers have continued to sell them during this period and still do. I believe it is also still widely available in Japan (and perhaps some other countries?). Thus, all of these racquets over all of this time can't just be coming from existing inventory somewhere, unless of course, Wilson made like a million of them and stockpiled them prior to ceasing production, but I highly doubt it. I guess the rumour that Wilson has stopped production of the PS 6.0 95 is on par with Wilson saying they are continuing to make the PS 6.0 85 even though many retailers have said Wilson told them the opposite is true. This is all very confusing which is why I'm trying to get TW to clarify the situation.
Perhaps Wilson told you that they had stopped production of the PS 6.0 95 because you can no longer buy them from pro shops and they would prefer that you bought a different Wilson racquet from the pro shop. Perhaps the Wilson rep that told you this only gets a commission from sales through pro shops and not through online retailers? Thus, it's in his best interest that you bought an nCode from the pro shop instead. Anyway, just speculating as to why there's so much conflicting information out there. I'm not saying that your info is inaccurate or anything. Thanks for the input.
