This episode of the Simpsons where ogdenville residents take over springfield is so awesome! And that was the highlight of my day! Now back to donuts and beer!

dats, are these your courts?
http://goo.gl/maps/kJizA
They look sweet. Here's ours:
http://goo.gl/maps/3u4zC
The head pro there is Pavel Slozil, Steffi Graf's old coach. I've seen him play some exhibition doubles, and while he doesn't nail the ball as hard as others, his control & touch is unbelievable.

I'm lucky in that many people my age (mid 40s) visit their parents during Xmas as well, so I usually have two or three people in the 4.5 range to hit with.

We'll check out the restaurant while down there & let you know. We always like to visit the 'local' places. There was a nice Cuban deli we went to last year, but I can't remember the name. Real good food, and authentic, at least according to my wife...

Oh, and last I heard, Naples Bath & Tennis is now (again) under Sanchez-Casal management.

never read this article before... i knew i was stringing too high!

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...373170456.html

and....

Nate Ferguson: Lleyton Hewitt was into the 30s (pounds) at Wimbledon using half poly and half gut. The poly allows players to play so loose, and they are swinging so hard with low tension and getting more of that cupping effect. And equally as important, they can really swing out and keep the ball in the court with poly.

dennis kudla uses my string, black code and strings at 44lbs. hrmmm. maybe ill try 51lbs next time instead of 56lbs.

The last person to string my racket was Sup. I have no idea what strings he used or the tension.

Went to the doc to get my ribs checked out... just bruised, not broken. Oddly enough, the symptoms are the same, just without the whole punctured lung part. Doc said I have to avoid taking shallow breaths (even though it hurts to breath normally) otherwise I'll develop pneumonia, WTF?!

Let's set up a TWMAC kids tennis meet. Kids vs. kids while the parents just eat and drink.

My kid - can serve all double faults.

Dat's kid - can obsess about racket choice the entire time.

Auzzie's kid - can have lead poisoning.

Zap's kid - can bring the hotdogs.

hollywood's kid - can talk about the WNBA the entire time.

Sappy's kid - can show up, hit one ball, then sit in a chair the rest of the time.

Prefer Neisha. Never been impressed with Busara Thai - at least the one in Reston seems not to be up to par for the price.

Tried to make a Starbucks Via flavored protein shake this AM did not work out. Greek yogurt seems tto be a bit sharp to combine with coffee.

Knee is feeling better. Can't wait to hit sunday.

CB. try thai x-ing. the place is a hole in the wall. the decor/service knocks it down at least 2-3 notches which speaks volumes about the food. make a reservation and go. walk in and be liek wtf is this place. then food comes and you forget that you are sitting on someone's living room floor and eating. let me know if you want to go. they serve prefix so the cook just cooks you what ever he feels like.
